Returns & Exchanges Policy

For returning and exchanging products we hold a special ‘Return & Exchanges Policy’. Please read this policy well to avoid misunderstanding and delays.

You can contact us with a request for returning or exchanging a product if the following situations occur:

  • I am not satisfied with the product
  • The product is defective, damaged or incomplete upon arrival
  • The product is defected or damaged within the warranty period
  • Wrongly received order
  • Product does not fit

Note: Upon arrival, check your product right away for damages or missing components. If this is the case, write us an email to info@basewheels.com and the shipping costs for returning your product will be refunded by us. Also, if the package itself is damaged, you can refuse accepting it and contact us instead. Make sure that if you DO accept the package, you report the damage to the delivery person as well.


Return shipment costs

The costs for returning a shipment are only refunded by us if:

-The product is defective, damaged or incomplete upon arrival

-The product is defective and damaged within the warranty period

-The by you received product is different than the product ordered (this means that the costs shall not be refunded if you accidentally ordered the wrong product!).


How to return

Before returning any items, please contact us for a return/exchange authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Step 1: Place the product in the original box with all manuals and accessories, to ensure that it arrives in the same condition it was in when you received it. We are not responsible for products that are damaged due to poor packaging or lost shipments. We must receive all original products in order to process your return or exchange. Refunds will not be available if the returned products have been damaged in any way before arriving.

Step 2: Please enclose a copy of your invoice. As a safeguard against potential abuse, Base Wheels reserves the right to deny a refund to anyone who has made what we determine to be excessive returns.

Step 3: We suggest you send your return using a reliable international carrier that offers tracking (such as UPS). Return shipments are sent at your own risk. It is strongly recommended that you insure the package, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all items arrive in their original condition as it was shipped. You can also return by visiting our physical address.


Replacement or Refund

When returning a product, you automatically will receive a email from us when the product is received. As soon as we have examined the returned product, we will send you a replacement or we will refund the purchase price including the shipping cost you paid for returning the product (if proven that the fault lies with Base Wheels). It can take up to 7 workdays (calculated from the day you returned the item to us) until we have processed your returning order.


Exceptions

The following products cannot be returned for a refund or exchange:

  • special-order parts
  • installed parts
  • painted parts
  • sale parts
  • gift cards
